Davor is a senior product development and marketing executive,
with expertise in telecommunications and information technologies.
As COO of Whitewater Mobile, Dokonal led the development
of one of the first Web 2.0 mobile platforms for social
networking applications. Dokonal held various positions
at LM Ericsson, including head of Strategic Product Management,
Messaging Division, where he conceptualized new wireless
applications and usage models for multimedia messaging
trial systems with Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and AT&T
Wireless that achieved 80% market penetration. Dokonal
was key in developing Ericsson’s Multimedia Messaging
system and the world’s first picture messaging application.
He led Business Development for the Voice Messaging division,
responsible for the Vodafone Global account and Europe
and Middle East regions. While in Ericsson Australia, Dokonal
led the project management group in the Asia-Pacific region
and deployment of mobile network infrastructure for Vodafone
Australia. Dokonal has a Masters in Electrical Engineering
(MEE) from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is a member
of the IEEE, a certifed Project Management Professional
(PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute.
